Class Registration Refund & Cancellation Policy

Effective Date: February 25, 2025

This Cancellation, Rescheduling, Transfer, and Refund Policy explain the terms and conditions that apply to class cancellations, transfers, rescheduling requests, and refunds for classes offered by OnPoint CPR. By registering for a class, each participant agrees to this Policy.

Participant Cancellations

·       If a participant cancels four (4) or more calendar days before the scheduled class date, the participant is eligible for a full refund, less any non-refundable processing fees.

·       If a participant cancels the registration at least seventy-two (72) hours before the scheduled class start time, the participant may receive a 50% refund or, subject to availability and at the sole discretion of OnPoint CPR, may reschedule to a future class date.

·       No refund will be issued for cancellations made less than twenty-four (24) hours before the scheduled class start time or if the participant fails to attend the class without prior notice.

Transfers and Rescheduling

·       A participant may transfer a registration to another available class date if the request is submitted at least two (2) calendar days before the originally scheduled class.

·       Requests submitted after that deadline may be approved at the sole discretion of OnPoint CPR and, if approved, will be subject to a $25 rescheduling fee.

Cancellations or Rescheduling by OnPoint CPR

·       OnPoint CPR may cancel, postpone, or reschedule any class due to low enrollment, instructor illness, inclement weather, or other circumstances beyond its reasonable control.

·       If OnPoint CPR cancels a class, affected participants will be notified as soon as reasonably possible and will be offered either a transfer to another class date at no additional cost or a full refund of the registration fee paid.

·       To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, OnPoint CPR will not be responsible for incidental, consequential, or other out-of-pocket expenses, including travel, lodging, or related costs.

Refund Processing

·       Approved refunds will be issued to the original method of payment within five (5) to seven (7) business days after the cancellation is confirmed.

·       Refunds are not available for cancellations made on or after the scheduled course date. However, at the sole discretion of OnPoint CPR, a course credit may be issued and kept on file for up to one (1) calendar year. Any later rescheduling remains subject to a fee of $25.

·       Third-party payment processing fees, including credit card transaction fees, may be non-refundable if retained by the payment processor under its own policies.

Course Materials

All courses require the purchase of an American Heart Association (AHA) student manual. Once ordered, the manual is subject to the applicable AHA refund policy, regardless of whether the participant cancels the registration.
